About Us

Our journey began in 1994 when we teamed up with OCS AB Sweden, securing exclusive rights to their innovative rotating-tube technology here in North America. Originally developed in the 1970s, this technology became the foundation for a new kind of conveyor system—cleaner, quieter, safer, and more flexible than traditional chain-driven power & free systems.

The difference is the rotating drive tube

At the heart of IntelliTrak systems is our rotating drive tube. Unlike traditional power & free systems that rely on a single chain—where one moving part drives the entire line—IntelliTrak uses a friction-based rotating tube, allowing completely independent movement between zones. That means greater flexibility to scale or modify, reduced maintenance, lower energy use and drastically reduced downtime. Because there is no chain, IntelliTrak’s rotating tube provides for a quieter and cleaner operating environment. Chain is noisy, requires lubrication, produces debris and is more expensive to maintain.

How it works

As the drive tube rotates, the trolley assembly moves forward via skewed wheels that are spring-loaded to the drive tube. Reversing the rotation of the drive tube reverses the direction of the trolley. The trolley rides on the load rail and supports the carrier assemblies, which in turn carry the product.

A growing company

In 1995, OCS IntelliTrak, Inc. (aka IntelliTrak) officially incorporated, eventually setting up headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio. Since then, we’ve handled everything here, from sales and engineering to manufacturing and installation, expanding capabilities as our business grew.

Fast forward to 2005, IntelliTrak was acquired by LICO, Inc. and became part of the ASI family of companies, joining other like-minded innovators like Automatic Systems, Inc. (ASI), Standard Automation and LICO Steel.

Over the last 12 years, IntelliTrak has more than doubled in size, both in space and team members. Today, we manufacture nearly all our parts in-house and employ a diverse group of professionals, including sales, engineering, assembly, machining, welding, quality control, and more.

Our Mission

To be a partner in providing innovative material handling solutions, exceeding expectations, and growing together with quality and integrity.

our product line

Building on OCS technology, IntelliTrak has developed a comprehensive product line of material handling solutions that can handle loads of 40,000+ lbs. (all of which are driven by the friction rotating-tube technology except for the belt-driven 150 series). Each system is custom engineered to the customer’s unique specifications and determined largely by the weight of product being conveyed and functionality required:
